Purpose
At the successful completion of the course the trainee will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the fire classes and fire suppression techniques, select and implement a strategy to deal with fire and demonstrate knowledge of evacuation requirements for a particular workplace or site, and explain the duties of a Fire and Emergency Warden.

Fire Warden US 18408 - 4hrs (8am to 12pm)
Fire Safey US 3271 and 4647 - 4hrs (12.30pm to 4.30pm)

18408 Fire and Emergency Warden Duties
Required PPE and dress
- You will be required to be dressed in long pants and long sleeved tops.
- No polyester fabrics (cotton material preferred).
- Fully covered footwear.
- Long hair tied up.
VHNZ will provide fire retardant gloves and full face sheild.
The course requires a level of fitness to demonstrate competency for the skill being trained.less
